Abstract

The change in curriculum, namely the Merdeka Curriculum, which includes the Project for Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Rahmatal Lil Alamin Students (P52PRA) at the Madrasah Aliyah level is certainly something that must be considered in character formation. Moreover, Islamic characters such as Syukur and Qona'ah are starting to erode. The aim of this research is to determine the application of P52PRA in improving the character of Gratitude and Qona'ah. The research method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. Using primary data obtained through interviews with Madrasah principals, deputy principals for curriculum, teachers and project coordinators. Then the secondary data was obtained from analysis of observation results, documents and literature studies. The research results show that P52PRA has the ability to increase qona'ah and feelings of gratitude in students in various ways. First, P52PRA gives students the opportunity to learn about nature and growing plants. This activity fosters students' gratitude for what they have and a greater appreciation for nature. Through hydroponics which uses water as a medium, it certainly increases feelings of gratitude because of the resource in the form of water, which plays a very important role in gardening. When you only have limited land but still want to have your own garden, you feel qona'ah (enough) with the knowledge you know, then hydroponics can be a solution for those who like gardening.
