Abstract

In the learning process, teachers play a crucial role as facilitators and role models for students, working together to support the learning process. As professional educators, teachers are responsible for educating, teaching, guiding, and evaluating students. This study uses a qualitative research method to understand phenomena from the perspective of the subjects, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation, and validated through data triangulation. The research findings show that: (1) The PAI (Islamic Religious Education) teacher's strategy at SDN Keling 2, which includes singing, matching the meaning of words, memorization, and applying the meaning of Asmaul Husna in daily life, has been effective in strengthening students' understanding and creating a religious atmosphere that supports character building. (2) Challenges in implementing the habituation of Asmaul Husna values include the diversity of students' backgrounds and the tendency to forget after memorization, which requires additional time for repetition and a more adaptive approach to ensure consistent understanding among all students.
