Abstract

 

The research that is being carried out aims to find out how the role of teachers in Islamic religious education in the realization of the profile of a Pancasila student. Qualitative methods are used to facilitate this study. Qualitative research has an understanding that a research method with results in the form of descriptive data in the form of writing or can also be in the form of words spoken and behavioral behavior that can be seen by researchers. The results of the study present data that can be concluded that there is something that shows the optimization of the role of a teacher (teacher) in shaping the profile of Pancasila students is needed. however, teachers do not have enough competencies that have been determined in the Merdeka curriculum or the Education Standard Organization group, curriculum, and Education Assessment. In addition, an educator must also be required to have three other principles which must be used as guidelines by himself so that students can form a pancasila student profile that is in accordance with what develops in the community where they live. These three things are comprehensive principles, exemplary principles and also have broad insight. Through optimization aimed at the role of teachers in order to realize the profile of Pancasila students, it is expected to be able to produce students and successors of the nation in accordance with the profile of Pancasila students of the independent curriculum.
