Abstract

Educating and learning in schools are not just characterized as exercises of moving information from educators to understudies. Notwithstanding, a few exercises, for example, acclimating all school individuals to comply with pertinent guidelines, regard one another and become accustomed to an existence of discipline should be cultivated in the school climate.This research aims to describe the role of school culture in improving MAN 4 KEDIRI student  discipline. This research uses a qualitative approach. This research shows that school culture can improve student discipline through the customs and regulations that exist in the school environment. Students obey and follow the values they believe to be their responsibility. The research results show that the MAN 4 KEDIRI school culture that supports student discipline includes: religious culture, academic culture, culture of obeying rules, and culture of mutual respect.
